Pearl Jam to play Jimmy Fallon show Sept 8th and 9th

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon announced that Pearl Jam will be playing the show on Sept. 8th and 9th. Cameron Crowe, director of the documentary entitled, "Pearl Jam Twenty" will be a guest on Sept. 8th.

PJ20 Stage setup concept art

Hey guys,

I was visiting Alpine Valley's facebook page and they have posted what the stage setup MIGHT look like . Check it out below. Remember, this is hasn't been confirmed as the final setup. Just thought I'd post it so that you can visit their Facebook page and voice your opinion. I personally think that it is not a good a idea unless they make a center stage for the last four acts... I don't think I would mind looking left to right for all the other bands but not for Pearl Jam. I think that would definately take away for the experience. Please voice you opinons to them if you agree.

Almost done with podcast but I have had to put it on hold because I have another pressing deadline. I have been notified by SuperGlued that I, along with 19 others, are finalists in the Pearl Jam Destination Weekend Contest. 05/24 - Alpine Ticket Onsale Update/Canada Pre-sale Postponement

ALPINE ONSALE UPDATE
Our IT brains are still working diligently to rectify the Alpine ticketing situation.
There are currently some people who already had items in their carts and who are able to continue the checkout process, very slowly.

Here’s what we’re going to do:

– Those who were already in the check-out process, stick with us and we’re going to try to process your order.
– Those who aren’t already, give it a rest tonight so we can get those who are officially in the middle of the check-out process checked out and work on the site.
– We are going to close the store tonight to ANY NEW TICKET ORDERS in order to work on the system for tomorrow.
– At 8am PT tomorrow morning, we will post on the Ten Club “news” section information regarding when the Alpine ticket sale will resume.
– If it’s still not working at 8am PT, we will say that.
– If it’s working at 8am PT, we’ll provide a time for when the onsale will resume, which be AT LEAST TWO HOURS later, so that everyone has time to prepare.
–The good news is, there are PLENTY of tickets still available.

CANADA ON-SALE POSTPONED TO WEDNESDAY
Due to the problems surrounding today’s Alpine pre-sale, the Ten Club is going to postpone the Canada Pre-sale to
Wednesday May 25th (during the same hours as previously scheduled) to help ensure all systems are up and running smoothly.

Ten Club tickets are for reserved seating and allocated by membership seniority, with the exception of rows 1-2 and rows 9-10 which will be used for random lottery allocation.

Two tickets (1 pair) per member, per show. No single tickets. No group seating.

NOTE: $2 from every ticket sold to Pearl Jam's Labor Day anniversary weekend concert and Canadian tour will be donated to Vitalogy Foundation, which grants funds to non-profit organizations chosen personally by the members of Pearl Jam.

TEN CLUB TICKETING POLICY:
As with all Ten Club ticket orders, by placing an order for any tickets you are agreeing to the following terms.

Pre-sale tickets are first-come, first-serve, while supplies last, or until the end of the scheduled pre-sale. Whichever comes first.
Tickets will be distributed at will call on the evening of the performance. Only the registered Ten Club account owner will be allowed to collect the tickets. No exceptions.
The fan club member must collect the tickets in person with a valid photo identification. No exceptions.
Seat location is not revealed in advance of the show. You will find out your seat location when you pick your tickets up at will call.

Two (2) reserved tickets for one night and two (2) general admission tickets to the other night. Which night you receive reserved seats will be determined by the Ten Club. There are no exchanges and no exceptions. $334.00/weekend

Lawn Only

Two (2) general admission tickets for each night. These tickets include (2) wristbands that will provide access to the Ten Club viewing area on the lawn. This area will be open to wristbanded Ten Club members only and will open when the gates open and the fence will be removed when Pearl Jam begins their set. This area is the front of the lawn. $252/weekend

All 10C members purchasing pre-order ticket packages will have access to the Ten Club Park- a shady, grassy area to get away from it all. There will be some refreshments available (some free), 10C bathrooms and an all-around good vibe. This area DOESN’T have a view of the mainstage and it is limited to capacity.

PJ20 Festival announcement this upcoming week

Seems like that "birdie" showed up again on the Ten Club forum yesterday. Here's what he said....

The little birdie fluttered and landed with great force on our picnic blanket.

"Where have you been and what's with the backpack?" we inquired.

"I've been so busy making plans, trying to get everything ready for a special weekend. And do you know how hard it is to fly with a pack on my back?" the birdie said.

"Ah…a special destination weekend perhaps?" we said.

The little birdie exclaimed, "Well, of course! Have you been living in a valley? Just make sure your memberships are up to date by midnight Sunday (Pacific Time) or you'll be sorry."

"Ok, little birdie, thank you for the heads-up. We appreciate it. Where are you going next, birdie?" we said.

"To the great white North!”

So what does this mean???? Well, here's what I think...

1. It's a "special weekend" so at least two days...

2. "Have you been living in a valley?" - "Valley" referring to Alpine Valley, perhaps??

3. Where was he headed..."to the Great White North" which means Canada. It tells me that they will do some shows in Canada first before doing the festival. Looks like there may be some shows in August then.

Getting ready for PJ20 Festival...are you?

Hello, Jammers,

Just wanted to update you on how things are going. I have my ear to the ground and trying to confirm what all my sources on when and where the PJ 20 festival will be. The majority of people I am speaking with and what is churning in the Rumor Mill, is that it'll be happening Labor Day Weekend (Sat. and Sun.)in East Troy, WI at Alpine Valley Amphitheater. So I have taken the liberty to book rooms for that weekend in a nearby town, just in case. My airfare will not be purchased until I know for sure. And tickets will be bought when Ten Club sells them.

On the podcast side, I have decided that doing a VIDEO cast from the event may be possible through my phone but I will have to do some tests and see if it's the way to go. The software I want to use will allow me to post a live stream on my blog site and Facebook page. If I don't think it will work, I will go back to the live podcast.

Does anyone have any suggestions, please email them or send me a message thru Facebook page and I will look them over and see if they are something we can add to the experience.

Looks like 10 Club is true to their word and giving people who missed out on tickets to Eddie's solo US tour another chance today only. Read below. NOTE: Passwords and links have been removed to allow those who are 10 club members a great chance to get them. This post is for informational proposes only.


Hello 10club members:

In an effort to provide more tickets to members who were unable to secure Ten Club pre-sale tickets for Edie Vedder's 2011 US solo tour, the public ticketing vendors have agreed to do another pre-sale for our members at 10am your local time on Thursday March, 31.

This pre-sale will be conducted through the venues public ticket vendor, not the Ten Club, and the seats will not be allocated by seniority, but will be first come, first serve - while supplies last. Ticket sales are limited.

Please note: each venue has it's own ticket link and may have a slight variation on the password. Please pay close attention to any notes about the password as they will vary slightly from show to show.


Now for the very important part ... DO NOT DISTRIBUTE THE PASSWORD, or you will increase the risk of non-members obtaining these tickets. And please ... if you have already purchased tickets through the Ten Club for these shows, allow the not-so-lucky members to have the opportunity.

Ticket sales are subject to processing fees by the vendor. All ticket sales are final. Tickets are not for re-sale.

Since the Ten Club has no possession of these tickets, all questions about ticket orders must be directed to the public ticket vendor's customer service department.

Pearl Jam announce the release of "Live on Ten Legs," a new live compilation album that will be available through Pearl Jam's Ten Club and select digital and independent music retailers on January 18, 2011 (January 17, 2011 internationally).

Kicking off the band’s twentieth anniversary year, "Live on Ten Legs" features 18 Pearl Jam tracks recorded over the course of the band's 2003-2010 world tours by recording engineer, John Burton (full track listing below). All tracks have been newly remixed by longtime Pearl Jam engineer Brett Eliason and remastered.

"Live on Ten Legs" will be available internationally through Island Records as a digital version, CD version and a deluxe version. The deluxe version will include a CD, double LP package, four mini poster reprints, five live photos and a tour laminate. The album will be available in the United States as a digital version, CD version and vinyl version.


Pearl Jam's "Live on Ten Legs" is a follow up to their platinum 1998 live release, "Live on Two Legs," which consisted of performances recorded during the band's summer 1998 North American tour.

Happy 20th Anniversary Pearl Jam!!!!!

Hey guys,

I can't believe 20 years have gone by since the first live performance of our favorite group. It amazes me that this band has been a part of my life for almost half of it. Their music has been the soundtrack to my life since I was 21 and all the memories that mean the most to me, have Pearl Jam songs attached to them. Like when I moved from my hometown for the first time and away from family and friends, "Rearviewmirror" plays in the background of my thoughts of driving outta Corpus Christi in my 1989 Ford Escort. When my daughter Leah was born and we wife and I see her for the first time, the lyric from "Wishlist" /I wish I was the verb "to trust" and never let you down/ comes to mind when I roll her down the hall to the nursery. And even in sad times like when a good friend of mine passed away earlier in the year, "The End" was playing in my head when I said goodbye to him.

I don't think these guys will ever know how much they have affected me. How much they were there for me during the best and worst of times. How they conforted me with their music when things were bad and got my blood racing when I saw them live.

So here's to you all: Stone, Mike, Jeff, Eddie, Matt, Dave K., Dave A., Jack and even Boom for all the music, the fun and all the years. Happy 20th Anniversary to best band in the world!!!! And MANY more....please!

At Spaceland tonight Mike confirmed that Pearl Jam will be playing both nights of Bridge School (in Mountain View, California on October 23rd and 24th).

Other news:

He said no plans for a 20th Anniversary show as of what he knows right now.

Also said a documentary is being done by Cameron Crowe for release in August or September of next year.
