I would like to take a moment to thank everyone that has subscribed to this podcast. As of today, Given To Cast has 100 subscribers. That's huge for me. I never thought anyone would be listening out there. I appreciate all of you taking the time to subscribe. I hope to continue what I am doing and hopefully improving as time goes on. Target begins taking Pre-Orders for "Backspacer"

Love Pearl Jam but suffer from agoraphobia or some other crippling social disorder that would disable you from buying Backspacer the day of it’s release? No worries, as a member of the Ten Club, Pearl Jam’s official fan club, you can - - huh? What? You’re not a member?

Okay, good news then. Now, on Target’s site, you can put in your order for Backspacer, Pearl Jam’s upcoming ninth studio album, for $11.98 plus $2.99 shipping. As previously reported, Target customers will get two full concert downloads (out of 12, of which the band hasn’t made public their selections).

The bummer here is that it looks like Target won't be carrying the vinyl version. For that, you would have to join the fan club.

Shoppers can also pick up a Target exclusive Pearl Jam t-shirt, but the price or design is not available yet.

I know this isn't Pearl jam news but i know it's Pearl Jam related. today, we lost a legend in the guitar world. Les Paul passed away today at the age of 93. so, if you're out and about and having a beer with friends, raise one for Les. I know I will.

We've got some great news ... Pearl Jam has added some dates onto their North American tour, on both coasts.

Ever wondered if Eddie Vedder does Karaoke??? Well, wonder no more.

Ever go to sing Karaoke with friends? I have and it takes a bit of "liquid courage" to get up there and pick your favorite song and try to pull it off without looking like a dork.

Well, I recently so this on The Red Mosquito Forum (theskyiscrape.com's fourm) of Eddie doing karaoke after a Cubs game. I didn't believe it. So I click it and sure enough, it's our favorite frontman, singing U2's Where the Streets Have No Name", The Beatles, "Yellow Submarine" and Sonny and Cher's "I got You Babe". Pearl Jam announces Opening Acts for some North American Tour Dates

Ted Leo + the Pharmacists to open the August 21 Toronto show at the Molson Amphitheatre. Supporting Pearl Jam for both United Center shows in Chicago on August 23 and 24 will be Bad Religion.

The Target discs will link to a virtual "vault" of 11 concerts spanning Pearl Jam's career, from which fans can choose two. The band will also create an organic cotton T-shirt to be sold at Target, with proceeds earmarked for the hunger relief charity Feeding America. And in September, a Cameron Crowe-directed TV ad will air featuring footage shot during a private performance at Seattle's Showbox in late May.
