Eddie Vedder Postpones U.S. Tour due to nerve damage in arm

Just got the news today, oh boy..... Well, not that bad but it's a downer for me... I was looking forward to it... Here's the email... NOTE: We will reschedule the preparty when new date is announced.

We regret to inform you that Eddie Vedder has announced the postponement of his 15-city U.S. solo tour today due to temporary nerve damage in his right arm, the result of a back injury sustained earlier this year.

Pearl Jam manager Kelly Curtis explains, "After having worked aggressively with doctors and physical therapists for the last eight weeks to repair the damage, the intensity of the injury and time needed to heal has made it impossible to play the shows as scheduled. There was hope up until the last minute that the treatments would be successful.  Sincerest apologies go out to those who have made plans and bought tickets.  Eddie is frustrated beyond measure, but remains positive that come this summer all will be back in good form."

All postponed dates will be rescheduled for November and December 2012. Your purchased fan club tickets will automatically be honored for the corresponding rescheduled dates. Refunds will be available for a limited time upon request. The deadline to submit your refund request is Friday, April 20^th at 5pm PDT.

Special guest Glen Hansard (The Swell Season, The Frames) will join Vedder on the road for these shows.

Your original ticket purchase is only transferable to the new corresponding rescheduled dates as listed above. Ten Club cannot exchange your ticket for any other date on the tour.  If you cannot make the corresponding date, please submit a refund request.

All refunded fan club tickets will be held by Ten Club until further notice.  Members who canceled their tickets and received a refund will not be eligible for those left over fan club tickets.
