I am doing a CD review of the new album and I am invitng you, ther hugest Pearl Jam fans, to participate in it. Here are the qualifications to join me on the podcast.
I am taking the first three people who can fullfill and commit to the following requirements:
1. You must have a working headphone mic set installed and working on you rcomputer.
2. You MUST be a subscriber to Skype and have the software installed and ready to go at the time specified.
3. You must have heard ALL the songs on the CD by Sunday night(April 30) at 6:00 pm CST and be able to participate in for the duration of the show. Probably around an hour or so.

iTunes update/Show additions
Hey guys,
I wanted to get back to you all about the iTunes situations. I have received several emails from you all asking about what happened. I will do my best to explain to all of you on Friday's podcast. As of right now, if you are a iTunes subscriber, you should still get the updates as usual (We cross our fingers and toes on that one Friday). If you have not subscribed as of yet through iTunes and plan on doing so, here's what I recommend you do.
1. Open iTunes.
2. Go to Advanced, scroll down to Subscribe to podcast..., enter this feed address: http://feeds.feedburner.com/blogspot/YqHn
3. It should come up in your podcast directory. (NOTE: You still will not be able to search for it but you should be able to download it.

On podcast news, I will be introducing a new segment and an extra way to do the Weekly Trivia. I'm going to ask you to email me a phone number to call you and ask you the Trivia Question of the Week. BTW, the new segment will be a once a month addition but that one will be revealed on Friday. Listen to the podcasts. HINT: Something cool this way comes!!!!
If you are interested in participating in this trivia contest, please send your name & contact number to my email giventocast@grandecom.net and I will randomly draw a name and call that person on Sundays from the hours of 5:00 pm to 7:00pm CST. iTunes feed removed
I have received an email from iTunes stating that my feed had been removed from their directory. As of right now, they have not given me a reason why. I can assume someone reported something to them and they have felt the need to remove my podcast. I have a feeing I know who may have done this. I really feel sorry for this individual. He seems not to have anything better to do than to ruin other people's enjoyment.
Well, if this had happened to me a few years back, I may have gotten back at him by informing certain entities about him using their materials without their permission, but I won't do that. I will take the high road on this one and not do anything to him. I will say this. People like this guy are very sad in my opinion and I really do feel sorry for him. He must have such a bad life and has nothing positive and useful to give society that he has to ruin life for others.
Now I know my podcast isn't the best thing since sliced bread but it has been very fun and enjoyable doing. And you know what, I am not going to let this guy ruin it for me and you. I will continue to produce this podcast though you may need to use another aggrigator or just download it directly from this blog. I have sent out an email asking for an explanation to why I was taken off of iTunes and will try to re-instate the feed there but as for now, it would seem you will have go about getting it another way other than iTunes.
I am on Podcaster, ODEO, My Yahoo, Feedster and others.

The Given To Cast T-Shirt
It has come to my attention that I may be in violation of copyright laws by using the words "PEARL JAM" on T-Shirts I have had made. (Thanks Gigi for you comments) So I have decided that I will no longer "sell" anything thing with band's name on it. As of today, I will just be giving them away as contest prizes or if you make a "donation" to the site of $21.00 or more you will receive a "thank you" gift of one of these shirts. I do not want anyone to think that i am trying to get rich or make a profit off of the band's name. That isn't why I made them. As I stated before, any profit was going to the up keep of the podcast.
I will removing the link for the shirts today and replacing it with a donation button. In the future, I will refrain from using the band's name, likeness or logos in any promotional materials for the podcast.

Copyright issues
Hey guys,
It has been brought to my attention by a person that had decided to leave a comment on my blog stating that I was selling Pearl Jam T-Shirts and that I was violating copyright laws by including the word Pearl Jam on the shirt and selling them for profit.
First of all, I am in no way using any copyrighted logos, artwork , etc. that Pearl Jam owns. Yes, the word Pearl Jam does appear on the shirt. But everything else on this t-shirt is of my creation and I can do what i wish with it. BTW, I am NOT trying to make money for myself with the sell of this shirt. I am raising funds to run this podcast. I have purchased headphone and mic, software (Mixcraft for podcast editing and record now for interviews). And let me tell you, I am still in the hole with this. Tons of profits, right?!
Second, this person also thanks me for playing Unemployable but that he hopes that Pearl Jam's lawyers don't come down on me for doing so because people are getting for free on the podcast.
This is just not a great position. What keeps people from recording songs off the radio and keeping them as their own. All I am doing is playing songs on my podcast and just like radio stations do. I have not played any leaked or illegally gotten songs. I subscribe to other podcasts that play songs, clips of audio from TV shows, use artwork from shows, etc. and they don't get letters from lawyers. They even have paying sponsors like Time-Warner.
In closing, I am trying very hard not to cuss or go off on this guy but I will say he is someone that doesn't know very much about these issues and has alot of time to leave a comment on my blog about this issue.
